Information used to deliver this website

Our hosting services, Amazon Web Services S3 and CloudFront, process technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser details to deliver pages. Hosting logs may retain request information depending on the infrastructure settings. We do not offer visitor accounts or an active newsletter signup on this site.

Optional Google Analytics

If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand page visits and site interactions and improve our recipes and guides. Google receives information such as visited pages, referring pages, browser and device details, approximate location and cookie identifiers. Your browser also connects to Google, which receives technical connection information including your IP address. Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and maintain session information. These may last up to two years, depending on Google and property settings. We disable Google signals and advertising personalization in our website tag. We do not intentionally send names or email addresses to Analytics.

Your cookie choices

Analytics is blocked until you accept. Declining leaves the recipe collection available. We store your choice in your browser’s local storage until you change it or clear that storage. Use the button below or Analytics settings in the footer to change your choice. Declining after accepting stops future measurement on this site, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page. It does not erase information already sent to Google. If browser storage is blocked, analytics stays off.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Little Lita is preparing to show advertisements through Google AdSense. Advertising is currently disabled in our site configuration; the account-verification meta tag does not itself serve ads.

When advertising is activated, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow it and its partners to personalize ads using those visits. Ad providers may also process IP addresses, device information and interactions for ad delivery, fraud prevention and measurement. Where consent is required, our configured consent system asks for your choices; declining personalization does not necessarily disable all permitted advertising.

You can use Ad privacy choices when available to review the vendors and purposes in Google’s consent message or withdraw consent. These advertising choices are separate from optional Analytics settings. You may also manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center, visit YourAdChoices for participating third-party vendors, and review Google’s advertising technology notice. Browser and device settings may affect how these choices are stored.

Depending on where you live and how advertising data is used, you may have a right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. Use the applicable advertising privacy message and choices, or email us. Any applicable US-state privacy controls must be configured before advertising is activated. We do not sell customer lists; advertising-related sharing may be treated as a sale or sharing under some privacy laws.

Providers and retention

Google processes analytics data and AWS processes hosting requests; these services may process information outside your country. Analytics retention and hosting-log retention depend on the account settings, rather than this website’s code. You can ask about access, correction or deletion of personal information, or other rights available where you live, by emailing the contact above. Please do not send sensitive information. We may need enough information to verify and locate your request; browser-based analytics may not identify you by name. We will explain what we can locate and which provider controls apply.
